Can I get any volunteer during my arrival at airport and rail station ?
Our volunteers will be at the airport to welcome you. Some will be at the Howrah and Sealdah station. If you do not find any one, please take pre-paid taxi for your hotel as listed. In our website, you will find more hotels of different ranges. So, please bear. We will try our best to receive you.
Can I get accommodation by spot registration ?
We have tried our best to arrange accommodation for delegates registered before 15th January. At this moment, we can suggest few names of hotels and their charges only for your happy stay. Please contact the hotel and enjoy.

I am scared about bird flu (H5N1). Do you serve egg or chicken ?
Kolkata is safe from bird flue. We will not serve eggs or chicken in any preparation.
May I bring woolen garments ?
Kolkata is now very cold. Please bring woolen garments.
I want accomodation in the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata. Can you arrange ?
The conference will be held on week days so it is difficult for our students to leave their rooms. I am sorry...

IAAP always encourages paper submission in conference. Please check this site for your name : abstract list
How can I prepare my poster ?
For poster presentation, each presenter will be allotted a space for maximum 9 A4 size papers,. Please use at least 24 size of Times New Roman font for convenient viewing.
I am worried for my accomodation.
My paper is not in special lecture session. How can I know my schedule ?
All parallel scientific sessions will start from 8th February, 2008. Please look at the preliminary program.
